India’s leading investor Rakesh Jhunjhunwala no more

Kathmandu, August 14. Rakesh Jhunjhunwala, a leading stock market investor and billionaire passed away on Sunday in Mumbai. He was 62.

According to reports, he had kidney ailments and was discharged from hospital two weeks earlier.

Jhunjhunwala had associations with Akasa Air, Hungama Entertainment, Aptech Limited along with many others. Moreover, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi also expressed sadness over the demise of Jhunjhunwala through a tweet.

Further, the net worth of Jhunjhunwala as estimated by Forbes is $5.8 billion. He started off by investing in stock markets. Jhunjhunwala is also nicknamed as the Waren Buffet of India.

He is survived by his wife and three children.
