China, Saudi Arabia to provide financial package to Pakistan

Kathmandu, November 5. China and Saudi Arabia will be providing a financial package of $13 billion to Pakistan. Finance minister of Pakistan Ishaq Dar confirmed the news on Saturday.

Additionally, an amount of $8.8 billion and $4.2 billion will be provided by China and Saudi Arabia respectively.

According to reports, the two countries will be taking care of Pakistan’s economic requirements until 2023. Further, the support will help ease the struggling economy of Pakistan. According to a report, Pakistan’s forex reserves is currently $8.9 billion.
