Rastriya Prajatantra Party decides to leave the government

Kathmandu, February 25. The central committee of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party held a meeting with the parliamentary representatives on Saturday morning. 

After the meeting, the party announced that it has decided to withdraw its support to the nominees of the presidential elections and exit the government.

Earlier on Friday, the party had decided to remain neutral in the presidential election. But, now the party has announced that it will step down from its supportive roles to the provincial governments as well.

Nepal is having the presidential election on March 9. Nominations for the election will be accepted until 3:00 p.m. today.
