Tragic avalanche claims life of Yarshagumba collector in Bajhang district

Kathmandu, May 22. On Sunday, an avalanche at Dhanshera of Surma Rural Municipality-2 in Bajhang district claimed a life of a person who was collecting Yarshagumba. The identity of the deceased remains unknown.
Assistant Chief District Officer Satya Kumari Joshi reported that two individuals are still missing, while two others were injured in the avalanche.
In response to the incident, a team comprising Nepal Police and Armed Police Force personnel has been dispatched to the site.
