Indian PM Modi condoles demise of Sita Dahal

Kathmandu, July 12: Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed his sorrow over the demise of Sita Dahal, the CPN (Maoist Centre) leader and spouse of Prime Minister and party Chairperson Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’. Taking to Twitter, Indian Prime Minister Modi said that he was extremely saddened to learn about the demise of Mrs Dahal. Modi, expressing his sincere condolences to his counterpart, prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul. Sita Dahal passed away while under treatment at the Norvic International Hospital at Thapathali in Kathmandu this morning. She was 69. Suffering from Parkinson’s, Sita Dahal was ill for long. She was admitted to the Hospital after she developed complications in her health. Late Dahal was advisor to the CPN (Maoist Centre). (RSS)
