CIAA Takes Action Against Land Survey Officer

Kathmandu, July 30: The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has taken action against land survey officer Raju Puri, moving the Special Court to charge him with unlawfully amassing property.

According to CIAA Spokesperson Bhola Dahal, Puri, who is currently serving at the Survey Office in Chabahil, has been accused of illegally accumulating property worth Rs 10.4 million. He began his public service on December 24, 1995 (Push 9, 2052 BS).

The Commission thoroughly analyzed Puri’s property details from the time of his entry into the civil service until mid-July of this year. Based on the findings, the CIAA decided to pursue a corruption case against him at the Special Court.
