CPN-UML Finalizes Candidates for National Assembly Elections on January 11

Kathmandu, Jan 7: The CPN-UML has announced the final list of candidates for the National Assembly elections scheduled to take place on January 11. General Secretary Shankar Pokharel confirmed that the party has selected candidates for the 19 available seats in the National Assembly.

The finalized list includes the following candidates:

1. Rukmini Koirala (Sunsari) – Women from the Koshi region.
2. Parshuram Adhikari (Bhojpur) – Other women candidate.
3. Ushadevi Tharuni (Parsa) – Women from Madhesh.
4. Dr. Arjun Kumar Singh Rajput (Mahottari) – Other category candidate.

From Bagmati region:
5. Rochkumari Choulagain (Dolakha) – Women candidate.
6. Trilochan Nirmal Paudel (Chitwan) – Other category candidate.
7. Vivek Devkota (Kathmandu) – Disabled/minorities candidate.
8. Dhrubraj Vishwakarma (Dhading) – Dalit candidate.

In Gandaki region:
9. Remember Devkota (Gorkha) – Women candidate.
10. Chakra Bahadur Parajuli (Sangja) – Other category candidate.
11. Hemandra Sherchan (Mustang) – Disabled/minorities candidate.

From Lumbini region:
12. Tulsakumari KC (Dang) – Women candidate.
13. Jhapendra Bahadur Gharti Chhetri (Palpa) – Other category candidate.
14. Vimala Kumari Shahi (Humla) – Others category candidate.

In Karnali region:
15. Dilliprasad Bhatt (Mugu) – Dalit candidate.
16. Hikmat Vick (Dailekh) – Dalit candidate.

From Far West region:
17. Savitradevi Ghimire (Kailali) – Women candidate.
18. Ishwariprasad Kharel (Kanchanpur) – Other category candidate.
19. Ramchandra Joshi (Kailali) – Disabled/minorities candidate.

The nominations for the National Assembly elections are set to take place on Monday.
