Nepal Medical Council Announces Results for Doctor Name Registration (License) Examination

Kathmandu, Feb 2: The Nepal Medical Council has released the results for the Doctor Name Registration (License) Examination, with a pass rate of 56.68 percent for MBBS and BDS candidates combined.

Dr. Vishwa Dawadi, the acting registrar of the council, provided details on the results, revealing a pass rate of 55.96 percent for MBBS candidates and 61.05 percent for BDS candidates. The examination attracted a total of 1,757 applicants for MBBS and 285 for BDS.

Out of the 1,737 MBBS candidates, 972 successfully passed the examination, while 765 individuals did not meet the requirements. For BDS, 174 candidates out of 285 secured a passing grade, with 111 candidates falling short of the required score.

These results signify a significant milestone for aspiring medical professionals in Nepal who have successfully completed the necessary examinations to obtain their licenses.
