Kathmandu, Mar 28: In a significant announcement, Elon Musk has unveiled plans to offer free Blue Tick verification to users on the X platform, along with other premium services based on subscriber counts.

According to Musk’s announcement, users with 2500 verified subscriber followers will be eligible for the free X Premium service, while those with 5000 verified subscriber followers will have access to the free X Premium Plus service.

The X Premium and X Premium Plus are paid plans that offer various features and benefits. The X Premium plan, priced at $8 per month or $84 annually, includes reduced ads by 50%, the ability to edit posts, create longer posts, undo posts, share large video posts, and access customization features along with the coveted Blue Tick verification.

On the other hand, the X Premium Plus plan, priced at $16 per month or $168 annually, offers even more features and benefits tailored for advanced users.

This move comes after Elon Musk rebranded Twitter as X last year and introduced several changes, including making the Blue Tick verification part of the subscription plans. The addition of new features and monetization options has further enhanced the platform’s appeal among users.

The free Blue Tick initiative aims to empower content creators and influencers by providing them with enhanced visibility and credibility on the platform. It also reflects Elon Musk’s ongoing efforts to innovate and improve user experiences within the X ecosystem.
