Kathmandu, Aug 13: Church Boys United suffered a 2-1 defeat against Bhutan’s Paro FC in the AFC Challenge League match held at Dasharath Stadium, Tripureshwar.
Church Boys took the lead in the 38th minute when Laken Limbu scored after Moses Gaba set him up with a header in the penalty box. However, their advantage was short-lived as Paro’s Kinga Wangchuk equalized just two minutes later, capitalizing on a mistake by Church Boys’ goalkeeper Deep Karki.
The decisive moment came in the 66th minute when Paro FC’s William Opoku Osieidu scored, securing a 2-1 victory for his team.
