Kathmandu, Sept 15: Cristiano Ronaldo will miss Al Nasser’s AFC Champions League match against Iraqi club Al Shorta due to a viral infection. Al Nasser confirmed that Ronaldo will not travel to Iraq with the team because of the illness.

Al Nasser is set to face Al Shorta at their home ground on Monday night. Ronaldo, who recently reached 900 career goals, has been actively playing football, but his participation has been disrupted due to the virus. The club announced that he will rejoin the team after a few days of rest.

Ronaldo has scored 4 goals in 5 games for Al Nasser this season.
