Kathmandu, Oct 24: The Weather Forecasting Division under the Department of Water and Meteorology has reported that the sea wave ‘Dana’ has begun to impact Nepal, potentially bringing light rain to the eastern regions until Friday.

Meenkumar Aryal, a meteorologist from the division, stated that the influence of the oceanic monsoon ‘Dana’ could cause light rainfall in parts of Koshi Province and Madhes Province. “The effect is concentrated in Nepal’s eastern region, originating from the Bay of Bengal a few days ago. It has also impacted areas like Orissa and West Bengal in India,” Aryal said.
