Kathmandu, Nov 26: Rajasthan Royals made history at the IPL 2025 Mega Auction in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, by signing 13-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi for Rs 1.10 crore. Vaibhav is now the youngest player ever to feature in the Indian Premier League.

At just 13 years and 243 days old, the left-handed batsman from Bihar has already achieved remarkable milestones. Vaibhav holds the record for being the youngest player to score an international century, having smashed 104 runs off 64 balls for India Under-19 in a Youth Test against Australia Under-19 in Chennai.

Vaibhav’s cricketing journey began early, with his Ranji Trophy debut for Bihar at the age of 12. His inclusion in the IPL marks a significant step in his burgeoning career, setting him up as a young talent to watch.
