Rs 2 Crore Financial Aid Announced for Family of Stampede Victim During ‘Pushpa-2’ Screening

Kathmandu, Dec 26: A financial assistance of Rs 2 crore has been pledged for the family of a woman who tragically lost her life in a stampede during the screening of Pushpa-2: The Rule. The aid will also support her injured son.

Allu Aravind, filmmaker and father of actor Allu Arjun, announced the assistance after visiting the injured child in the hospital.

“After meeting the doctors, we are relieved to hear that the child is recovering. We hope he recovers fully and reunites with us soon,” said Aravind.

The financial aid includes Rs 1 crore from Allu Arjun, Rs 50 lakh from three producers, and Rs 50 lakh from the film’s director.

The stampede occurred during a screening of the highly anticipated film starring Allu Arjun, resulting in one fatality and leaving others injured.
