Kathmandu, Feb 11: Inter Milan secured a 2-1 victory over Fiorentina in their Serie A match on Saturday, closing in on league leaders Napoli.
Inter took the lead in the 28th minute after Marin Pongračić scored an own goal. However, Rolando Mandragora equalized for Fiorentina from the penalty spot just before halftime.
In the 52nd minute, Marko Arnautović restored Inter’s lead, sealing the win at San Siro. The victory puts Inter in second place with 54 points from 24 matches, just one point behind Napoli. Fiorentina remains sixth with 42 points.
