Afghanistan to Face Australia in Crucial Champions Trophy Clash

Kathmandu, Feb 28: In today’s ICC Champions Trophy match, Afghanistan will take on Australia. Afghanistan’s captain, Kapan Hashmatullah Shahidi, won the toss and elected to bat first, with Australia set to bowl.
Australia has earned three points from two games, having beaten England while their match against South Africa was canceled due to rain. However, a loss in this match could jeopardize Australia’s semi-final position, while Afghanistan must win to advance. Afghanistan lost to South Africa in their first match but bounced back with a win over England. If the match is lost or canceled by rain, Afghanistan will be eliminated from the tournament.
The two teams have played four ODIs against each other so far, with Australia winning every encounter.
