Kathmandu, March 2: Italian goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon, a football legend, has arrived in Kathmandu as a special guest for the KP Oli Cup final on Monday. The final match, scheduled to be played at Dasharath Stadium, will see Tribhuvan Army Club face Machindra Club. The event is organized by the National Youth Association, which invited Buffon to join the celebration.
Buffon, 47, has played 176 games for Italy and was a key figure in Italy’s 2006 World Cup victory. His presence adds star power to the tournament and is expected to draw more attention to the event.
