Kathmandu, April 1: NASA astronauts Sunita Williams and Butch Wilmore held a press conference following their return from space, sharing insights about their time aboard the International Space Station (ISS) and the challenges of re-adapting to Earth’s gravity.

Reflecting on her return, Williams described the experience as a miracle, emphasizing how the human body adapts to extreme changes.

“When I came back the first day, we were all a bit shaken. Our nervous system takes time to adjust. It’s very strange how our brains process what’s happening,” she explained.

Williams, an Indian-American astronaut, returned to Earth on March 19 after spending 286 days in space. During their extended mission, she and Wilmore logged 900 hours of research and conducted 150 scientific experiments, contributing valuable data to future space exploration.
