Kathmandu. Niraj Gadher, owner of the UK’s Top Ranked Indian Eatery “Chai Walla”, tried sending a samosa into space. Unfortunately, the famous Indian dish packed in a package crash-landed in France.

A video uploaded on YouTube shows that the food package was launched along with attached GPS tracker and a GoPro camera together tied to a helium balloon.

Shortly after the takeoff, the GPS device went offline. The project was considered a failure until the next day when the GPS returned online.

The unit had crash-landed in a field in Caix, Picardie, France. A French Instagrammer found it hanging on a tree. However, the samosa and the wrapper were missing. ‘It might have been a meal to some french wildlife’ said Gadher.

The GoPro footage showed that the samosa had travelled through a high altitude and even was passed by an aeroplane.
