France shuts its borders for non-EU travellers

Kathmandu, January 31. The Government of France announced that from Sunday the travellers coming from outside the European Union will not be allowed to enter France.

French PM Prime Minister Jean Castex announced that the travel bans are imposed to prevent the high infection rate and new emerging mutants of the coronavirus. He also said, “Exceptions would only be made for a good reason.”

PM Castex added, In recent days, France is thinking of imposing a third lockdown in the country and “Border closure is “a last chance to avoid that.”

The new restrictions would not be applied to trade businesses. So the market and supply will not be affected.
