India ignites Agni Prime Missile from Abdul Kalam Island

Kathmandu, June 28. On Monday, India’s Defence Research and Development Organisation(DRDO) successfully tested its newly developed nuclear missile. 

The new generation nuclear-capable missile Agni Prime missile was ignited by a mobile remote system in Abdul Kalam Island off the coast of Odisha.

The surface-to-surface ballistic missile lifted off from the Indian Army base at 10.55 am. Its trajectory was monitored by a network of high grade tracking radars. 

The sleek missile has a range of up to 2000 kilometers.
