Kathmandu, January 25. The Clean Slate Filmz run by Bollywood starlet Anuskha Sharma has signed a $54 million deal (NPR 644 crore) with Amazon and Netflix.
Under the 18 month agreement, Sharma’s production firm will be required to produce at least eight films and online series for OTT platforms.
Netflix has officially stated that it is seeking to build a foothold in India after six years of doing business in the country.
The streaming giant also confirmed that it is preparing to release three films developed by Clean Slate Films within the next few months.
