Kathmandu, April 10. Asia’s first cafe with all HIV staff has opened in Kolkata, India. The cafe is named as ‘Cafe Positive’ and has a total of 7 staff members, who are all HIV positive.

Kallol Ghosh, the owner of cafe, also runs an NGO. He said that the idea was inspired from a cafe in Frankfurt. He further aims to spread awareness and generate employment for such people.

Additionally, he said that such kind of business is not easy. Many people walk away when explained about the cafe, while many stay back as well.

All the staff are teenagers. Ghosh added that he needed professional help for them, as most senior chefs are reluctant to work with them.
