India’s Gautam Adani world’s third richest person

Kathmandu, August 30. India’s businessman Gautam Adani is the world’s third richest person, according to Bloomberg Billionaires Index.
Adani is the chairman of Adani Group and has a net worth of USD 137.4 billion. He surpassed France’s Bernard Arnault, chairman of Louis Vuitton to take over the third position. Further, Adani is just behind Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos in the latest ranking released by Bloomberg Billionaires Index.
The net worth of Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos are currently at USD 251 billion and USD 153 billion, respectively.
Moreover, this is the first time an Asian has reached the top three of the billionaire ranking. The index demonstrates ranking of the world’s richest people and updated at close of everyday trading at New York.
Adani is a first generation businessman. His business extends from energy, ports and logistics, mining and resources, gas, defense to aerospace and airports.
Reliance chief Mukesh Ambani is at the eleventh position with a worth of USD 91.9 billion.
