PM Dahal Inspects Historic Stadio Olimpico Roma in Italian Capital

Kathmandu, July 27: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ visited the ‘Stadio Olimpico Roma’ in the Italian Capital, Rome, on Thursday.

During his visit to Italy, PM Dahal took the opportunity to inspect the stadium known for hosting the Olympic Games. He enquired about various aspects of the stadium during his tour.

The Stadio Olimpico Roma boasts a capacity of accommodating 70,000 spectators. PM Dahal carefully observed the entrance and exit routes for players, parafit facilities, post-game press conference room, and all the sectors essential for the stadium’s operation.On this occasion, the Prime Minister also had the chance to view the first shield won by Italy and the jerseys of the Olympians proudly displayed within the stadium.

The stadium authorities provided a briefing to PM Dahal about the historical significance and surrounding areas of the Stadio Olimpico Roma. The stadium has been operational since 1960 AD and continues to host various games, particularly football and athletics events.
