Israel Launches Large-Scale Attacks on Hezbollah Targets in Lebanon
Kathmandu, Sept 23: Israel has launched major attacks on Hezbollah targets in Lebanon, urging Lebanese citizens to avoid Hezbollah areas for their safety.
According to Lebanon’s health ministry, at least 100 people have been killed in the strikes on towns and villages in southern Lebanon since Monday. More than 400 people, including women and children, have been injured, as reported by Lebanon’s Public Health Emergency Operations Center.
Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari, spokesperson for the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF), confirmed plans for a large-scale and precise attack on Lebanon, reiterating the call for civilians to stay away from Hezbollah targets. The IDF stated that Hezbollah recently fired 150 rockets into Israel, prompting intensified Israeli operations.
In addition, Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant discussed the situation with US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin, briefing him on the Hezbollah threat and Israel’s countermeasures.
