Nepal Police Club Secures Sixth Consecutive Victory in PM Cup ODI Tournament

Kathmandu, March 19: Nepal Police Club extended its winning streak in the Prime Minister’s Cup National Men’s ODI Cricket Tournament with a commanding seven-wicket victory over Gandaki Province at Siddharthanagar Cricket Ground on Wednesday.
With this win, table-toppers Police have now accumulated 12 points from six matches, while Gandaki remains two points behind from the same number of games.
Chasing a modest target of 93 runs, Nepal Police reached the total in just 16 overs, losing only three wickets. Dipendra Singh Airee led the charge with a blistering 54 runs off 23 balls, smashing six sixes and three fours.
Arjun Saud remained unbeaten on 18 runs, while Dilip Nath contributed 10 runs. Airee and Saud built a crucial 65-run partnership for the third wicket.
For Gandaki, Bipin Khatri and Subash Bhandari managed to pick up one wicket each, but their efforts were not enough to prevent a dominant Police victory.
