Nepal Opts to Bat First Against Scotland in ICC World Cup League-2 Clash

Kathmandu, June 8: Nepal won the toss and chose to bat first in their ICC World Cup League-2 match against Scotland, being played at Forthill Cricket Ground in Dundee, Scotland.

Nepal made an early breakthrough when Karan KC dismissed Scottish opener George Munsey for a duck in just the fifth ball of the second over.

This is the third encounter between the two teams in the ongoing tournament. In their previous meeting, Nepal edged past Scotland by one wicket, while Nepal also secured a five-wicket victory over the Netherlands.

Scotland, coming off a win against the Netherlands on Friday, is aiming for their second consecutive win. They currently sit fourth on the points table with 22 points from 18 matches. Nepal, meanwhile, is in seventh place, with 10 points from 14 matches.
