RSWP MP Jagdish Kharel Meets Family of Gen-Z Movement Martyr
Kathmandu, March 10: Jagdish Kharel, the elected Member of Parliament from Lalitpur Constituency No. 2 representing the Rastriya Swatantra Party, met the family of Binod Maharjan, who was martyred during the Genji movement on Bhadra 23 and 24.
Kharel visited the home of 34-year-old martyr Binod Maharjan in Patan Sundhara-Dupat, Lalitpur Metropolitan City-7, on Tuesday and sought blessings from the family.
Speaking to media after the meeting, Kharel said he visited Maharjan’s family before going out to thank voters following his election victory. He stated that his election was made possible through the sacrifices made during the Genji movement.
He said the movement led by the martyrs and representatives of the Genji Movement against corruption and in favor of employment and prosperity remains incomplete.
Kharel claimed that the RSP government would work to complete the unfinished goals of the movement. He added that the people had given the party a two-thirds majority with the expectation that the country would now move toward meaningful change and a secure future.
