Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions asked to issue an apology by the Goa Government
Kathmandu. Karan Johar’s production house – Dharma Productions has been asked to issue an apology by the Goa Government for littering a village at North Goa during one of their film shoots. It has been said that the Deepika Padukone starrer movie wrapped up their shooting last week, but the crew did not clean up after the schedule was over.
A resident of North Goa uploaded the littering video on social media which has been widely criticized. According to an article in The Indian Express, Goa’s Waste Management Minister Michael Lobo has stated that the production house must apologize for littering and hurting the sentiments of the people residing in Goa. If they do not apologize, the minister has warned that he will take strict action.
The line producer hired by the production house defended by saying that the waste was collected and disposed at the designated site except on Sunday, after which the video got uploaded.
Bollywood actress Kangna Ranaut also has condemned the act on Twitter, criticizing the production house for its irresponsible behavior.
