Voices of revolt spark against UK’s ruling party after lockdown announcement
Kathmandu. The Prime Minister of United Kingdom (UK), Boris Johnson has announced a month-long lockdown starting from November 5 in UK. His decision has been highly criticized by the Conservative Party, also known as the Tories.
According to an article published in The Sun, Tories have warned to vote against the lockdown in the Parliament and turn over Johnson’s decision. Former Brexit Secretary David Davis mentioned that, “This is a bigger decision than going to war from the point of view of many people in the country.
Many Tories leaders are against the decision. They have claimed that Prime Minister Johnson is incapable and made this decision on his wish.
Johnson had organized a press conference, where he announced the lockdown. He cautioned that the second wave of the virus could kill double the number of people than the first wave did.
