Mumbai. After a month of marriage, a 27-year-old woman living in Mumbai filed a case against her husband and family members, alleging that they had concealed the identity of her bald husband who had been wearing a wig all the time.

According to the Senior Inspector of Naya nagar police Station in Mumbai, Kailash Bavre, a chartered accountant wife has accused her 29-year-old husband for not only cheating her but also for suspicious behavior and forced unnatural sexual acts. She told Police that he had been hacking into her phone, checking chats and call history. She also claimed that in-laws were harassing her for more dowry.

Bavre informed that the Police has booked the accused family under the following sections:

• section 498 (Enticing or taking away or detaining with the criminal intent of a married woman)

• section 377 (Unnatural Offenses)

• section 406 (Criminal Breach of Trust)

• section 500 (Defamation) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and

• sections 66 and 66(c) of the Information Technology (IT) Act, 2000.

The Hindustan Times reported that the Thane court in Mumbai has rejected the bail application of the accused husband and ordered him to surrender before the police. “We will arrest him in a day or two,” stated Bavre.

The other family members were released on the anticipatory bail.
