Raid at Paradise International, 62 passports confiscated

Kathmandu. The Foreign Employment Department has raided Paradise International, a manpower agency, which was interviewing people illegally for recruitment in foreign companies.

The raid was made at 12 noon Tuesday as the manpower agency was collecting forms for interview without obtaining permission from the department.

Investigation Officer Kushal Baral of the Foreign Employment Department told that the search was carried at the manpower agency after it was found conducting interviews without prior government permission.

The department has confiscated 62 passports, 2 desktop CPUs and other documents from the agency. The manpower agency has been ordered to be present at the department to provide statement within 24 hours.
