Russia doubted on for recent cyberattacks in US
Kathmandu, December 20. The Department of Homeland Security of the United States have been investigating for the recent cyberattacks in the government offices. Their investigation have pointed fingers towards Russia and have been claiming that Russia could be behind those cyberattacks.
United States Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has said in a radio interview, “This was a very significant effort, and I think it’s the case that now we can say pretty clearly that it was the Russians that engaged in this activity.”
However, President Trump has been speaking in favor of Russia and defending the country. He tweeted, “Russia, Russia, Russia is the priority chant when anything happens.” He also added that he has been fully briefed and things are in control.
