Kathmandu, December 26 : A total of 500 new cases of coronavirus was recorded on Friday. The total number of COVID-19 infections in Nepal has reached 2,57,700. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the number of active cases in Nepal is 6,749.
In the last 24 hours, 840 people have recovered. Meanwhile, cases of total recoveries have reached 2,49,132. The recovery rate has reached 96.7 percent.
With the addition of 3 deaths in the last 24 hours, the total number of deaths due to COVID-19 has reached 1819. Similarly, 369 people are in quarantine so far.
5,434 Real-Test Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) tests have been done in the last 24 hours.
