Kathmandu, January 9. Twitter has permanently suspended the account of US President Trump. The company has cited that there is further “risk of further incitement of violence”, therefore his account has been suspended.
Trump had taken to Twitter after the US Capitol riots and declared that he would not be attending Biden’s inauguration on January 20.
Trump has been trying to escape the blame for the violence at the US Capitol by releasing a video, claiming that he wanted to ensure the election’s integrity.
The Democrats have started the process of impeaching the president, although Trump has been ignoring calls for his resignation.
