Kathmandu, January 9. Elon Musk, owner of Tesla has surpassed Jeff Bezos to become the richest person in the world. His worth now totals to $185 billion, $1 billion more than of Jeff Bezos.
The net worth of Elon Musk started at $27 billion in 2020 but the increasing values of the shares of Tesla contributed to his increase in the total net worth. Musk surpassed Bill Gates to become the second richest person in the world in November.
Musk has managed to gain more wealth in the past twelve months than the whole of the net worth of Bill Gates.
Musk has also topped the list of Bloomberg Billionaires Index.
