Shorter new route makes Rara easily accessible
Khalanga. A shorter route linking Khalanga Bazaar of Jumla to Rara lake, Mugu has made it a lot easier for tourists. Earlier, tourists had to use the Nagma-Sinja-Rara route. Travelers abound the route that starts from Khalanga Bazaar and goes through Patarasi VDC, Urthu, Patamara, Nyaurighat of Kanakasundari, Chautha, Bulbule and ends in Rara Lake.
