US presidential candidate Joe Biden expressed that he has faith in vaccines and scientists but not in the current US president Donald Trump. He also critiqued president Trump’s belief in unscientific, impractical and unnatural things.

He asked the nation not to trust Trump, stating that he had committed a lot of wrongs towards the country and its people. Trump and Biden, rivals in the upcoming US presidential election, are trying to win the hearts of voters over the issue of coronavirus control and the efforts towards containing the global pandemic.

Biden’s speculation after consultations with public health experts on coronavirus control and necessary actions is that Trump may have politicized the issue of the coronavirus vaccine. “I believe in scientists, I believe in vaccines, but I don’t believe in Donald Trump,” he said. He emphasized that Americans, like himself, believed in scientists and vaccines, not in Trump.
