IPL: Sandeep Lamichhane’s possibility to join another team within 5 days

Kathmandu. Half of the ongoing games of the Indian Premier League (IPL) have been completed. All teams can play 14 games throughout the league, and they have already played 7-7 games. The teams have a rule to play 2-2 games with each other, and so far everyone has played 1-1. Being halfway into the league, the mid-season transfer window is open for this season.

This transfer window period will be available for 5 days, during which the franchise teams can buy and sell players amongst each other. Leading up to mid-season, each team has played 7 games. The transfer window allows only player who has played 2 or less of the 7 games to be bought and sold. There are 90 players who have played 2 or fewer games this season, and could be bought by another team. One of them is a Nepali player, Sandeep Lamichhane, who has not played any games this season. If any other team wants to buy him, they can do so in agreement with Delhi Capitals, the team he is currently in.

The most expensive players have also played less than two games this season for various reasons. Ben Stokes of Rajasthan Royals stands at a worth of Rs 125 million, Chris Morris of Royal Challengers Bangalore is worth Rs 100 million, Nathan Coulter-Nile of Mumbai Indians is worth Rs 80 million, Ajinkya Madhukar Rahane of Delhi Capitals is worth Rs 52.5 million, and Karn Sharma of Chennai Super Kings is worth Rs 50 million, and all of them are available for mid-season transfers this season. There are 13 players from Mumbai, 9 from Delhi, 10 from Kolkata, 11 from Bangalore, 13 from Hyderabad, 11 from Rajasthan, 10 from Chennai and 13 from Punjab who are available for mid-season transfer.
