Kathmandu. The dispute within the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) has become messy again with the vote of no confidence against the chief minister of Karnali Province by their own Member of Parliaments. The four-month-long internal dispute was about to settle after numerous discussions, but it has been disrupted now.

Party Executive Chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ is irked by PM KP Sharma Oli’s latest decision in reshuffling and extending the Cabinet before the recent political development in Karnali.

According to the Nepal Samacharpatra Daily, after the extension of the Cabinet, there has been no communication between PM Oli and Prachanda. They had discussed regularly for two weeks to implement the decisions of the party permanent committee and secretariat which was discarded by PM Oli, who reorganized the Cabinet on his own. This has increased the dissatisfaction in the party.

Prachanda made his discontent evident  by not  taking part in the discussion with the party officials of the Karnali Province at Baluwatar, refusing the invitation of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.
