Mumbai Indians’ incredible win against the Delhi Capitals
Kathmandu. After beating Delhi Capitals in the first qualifier match conducted last night, Mumbai Indians secured their entry to the finals of the Indian premier league.
Mumbai Indians Captain Rohit Sharma called it the best 57-run win they’ve achieved this season. The top-notch performance of Trent Boult and Jasprit Bumrah laid the foundation for the teams’ win. Delhi Capital’s could manage only 143 runs in the 20 over match.
Trent Boult knocked out Delhi Capitals’ 2 batsmen with no runs in the first over. Unfortunately, with the in-game injuries, Boult was able to bowl only 2 overs. After the game, Rohit expressed hope on Boult’s speedy recovery. “Trent is feeling better. There is a big game ahead and we want to see him fit in that game. I believe he will be on the field on November 10,” said Rohit Sharma.
