Kathmandu. Joe Biden, the President-Elect of the United States gave his first address on Saturday night after he defeated President Trump in the race. 77-year-old Biden went running up on to stage and delivered the address to the public. Biden is one of the oldest presidents to be elected. Biden was previously elected as a senator in 1973.

During his address, he stated, “You have given a clear mandate. A record 74 million people cast their
ballots. This is a moral victory for America.”

Biden went on to say, “Martin Luther King said the same thing. Listen carefully, America is speaking today. As President, I will unite this country instead of dividing it.”

Biden also called on Trump and his supporters to end their hatred. He said, “For all those of you who voted for President Trump, I understand the disappointment tonight. I’ve lost a couple times myself. But now, let’s give each other a chance. It’s time to put away the harsh rhetoric, lower the temperature, see each other again, listen to each other again. Stop thinking of your opponents as enemies because we are all Americans. The Bible teaches us that everything has its time. Now is the time to heal the wounds. First of all, Covid-19 has to be controlled. The economy and the country need to get back on track.”
