Kathmandu, December 28. More than a hundred British tourists have fled from quarantine in Switzerland. It is said that around 50 tourists fled immediately while dozens from among the 370 tourists have been seen in France.

Switzerland had imposed restrictions for people arriving from UK as a new variant of coronavirus was seen there. But people have denied to stay in quarantine and instead chosen to run away. Local media have said that they suspected ‘secret departures’ and noticed them because the phones in their rooms were repeatedly unanswered and their food remained untouched.

Swiss authorities have ordered for a 10-day quarantine for people arriving from UK since December 14.
