Nepal will become medium-sized economy by 2022 : Prime Minister Oli
Kathmandu, Jan 1 : Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that by 2022, Nepal will move towards progress as a medium-sized economy.
On the occasion of the International New Year, Prime Minister Oli has conveyed a video message that Nepal is focused on establishing itself as a middle-sized economy in accordance to United Nations development goals by 2022.
He said a four-pronged drive has been initiated in the country for new construction and we have succeeded to build infrastructure in the areas of transport, bridges, stadiums and other archaeological heritage, health and education.
He also urged the Nepali people to remain safe by following the government’s safety measures against this contagious pandemic, as Nepal managed to minimize cases of infection of COVID-19 in late 2020.
According to the Prime Minister Oli, “We are moving forward with unwavering loyalty on the path of fulfilling the common aspirations of the nation by overcoming the barriers created by the aspirations of those who are deprived of the priority of nation building, and we are moving ahead on the path of good governance and development with effective advancement in social awareness.”
