17th Pulsar Sports Awards on Tuesday
The Nepal Sports Journalist Forum(NSJF) has announced that it is all set for the launch of most-awaited 17th Pulsar Sports Awards that is scheduled on Tuesday.
NSJF is also celebrating its silver year (25th anniversary of its establishment) tomorrow. The award function was kept on hold due to the risk of Covid-19 pandemic.
Every year, the Pulsar Sports Award is given to nominated national and international players, coaches, teams and sports journalists in 10 different categories:
- Player of the Year (male)
- Player of the Year (female)
- Player of the Year (youth)
- Coach of the Year
- People’s Choice
- Team of the Year
- Para-athlete of the Year
- Special Award
- Lifetime Achievement Award
- International Sports Journalist Award
This year, winner’s of 4 categories will win Pulsar motorcycles each, while other winners will receive Rs 50,000. The winners will also receive gift hampers from Dish Home and Kelme Nepal. Hansraj Hulaschand and Company is the main sponsor of the event.
Four National channels, NTV Plus HD, Janata Television HD, Image Channel and Action Sports HD, will broadcast the event live.
