Motorcycle theft on the rise in Kathmandu Valley

Kathmandu, January 18. Metropolitan Traffic Police Division has confirmed that 4 to 5 motorcycles are stolen every day in Kathmandu valley. Out of which, “Pulsar 220cc” motorcycles are the most lifted ones. 

According to the department, a total of 143 motorcycles were illegally lifted from Kathmandu valley in Mangsir. Out of which, 111 motorcycles were Bajaj company’s Pulsar motorcycles.

Similarly, 147 motorcycles were stolen in Poush, out of which, 117 were Pulsars. The trend is observed to be inclining because, in Kartik, only 111 motorcycles were stolen. 

Pulsar 220cc motorcycles are in the priority list of the thieves because the engine of pulsar 220cc has a variety of uses, such as pulling water like a motor pump.
