China-Pakistan celebrate 70 year old diplomatic ties

Kathmandu. China and Pakistan celebrated their 70th year of diplomatic relations on Tuesday.
Chinese State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi marked the celebrations in a virtual ceremony with Pakistani counterpart Shah Mahmood Qureshi.
Minister Wang said that the two countries should work together for increased political trust and create a win-win situation which will deepen the relationships between the two countries. He also added that the CPEC (China-Pakistan Economic Corridor) must be promoted and create new growth points.
Minister Qureshi also said that Pakistan adheres to one-China policy and supports the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI).
