Government suspends international flights for 20 days

Kathmandu, April 11. Through an official statement on Tuesday, The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) announced that it has decided to suspend all international commercial flights till May 31, 2021.

However, two flights (in a week) between India and Nepal, each by Nepal Airlines and Air India, arranged under Air Travel Bubble arrangement will be allowed to operate. Medical, chartered, and cargo flights will also be allowed.

The statement urges the airliners not to sell tickets until further notice and return the sold tickets.
