Kathmandu, June 6. The central government of India has blocked Delhi chief minister’s ration delivery scheme. Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had announced that rations will be delivered from door-to-door in Delhi.

Kejriwal has opposed the decision and said,”Just two days before ‘Doorstep Delivery of Ration’ scheme’s implementation in Delhi, the central government stopped it. If pizza delivery can be allowed amid the Covid pandemic, then why not ration?”

The central government had said that Delhi had not taken permission from the centre for the scheme. But Kejriwal denies it. He said that they took permission not once but five times. He also added that ration belongs to neither AAP or BJP, mentioning that he would give credit to Modi if the scheme is implemented.

He said, “With folded hands, I on behalf of 70 lakh poor people in Delhi request you to let us implement the scheme.” Kejriwal said that politics must not be involved in matters that were of interest for the whole nation.

According to the Delhi government, they brought this scheme due to covid crisis and to reduce corruption.
